I used to be enjoying the bike so much our unique plan of just doing Ridgeline Extension was bypassed by the want to just carry on riding, so we decided to head down Missing Link and up Aratihi to the summit - a lot for preserving out of the wind! I determined that Koru and Lazy Fern would be the gig, because the trees keep you completely out of the wind, so I put the bike on the back of the wagon and set off for Makara Peak.
